ANDREA: Hello and welcome to Quick Tips from MSC Industrial Supply, a show where we invite the manufacturing community to share their expertise with us. Meet Streamlight’s new Sledge. A rugged, high-lumen rechargeable headlamp built for demanding environments. Let's check it out.

BRIAN: I'm Brian with Streamlight, and today we're going to be talking about the Streamlight Sledge, our low- profile rugged flood headlamp. The Sledge features a rubber strap which allows it to mount directly to standard hard hats or full brim hard hats. The Sledge also features a 45 degree tilting head. It also comes with an elastic strap.

This light features four total output modes—High. Medium. Low. And by pressing and holding the power button for three seconds, you'll engage the Throw mode, or our temporary heightened regulated output mode. The Sledge has a memory function, which allows you to resume the mode that you were in when you had last used the light. So, for example, if you are in medium and you turn the light off when you return to use the light again, it will turn on in medium. This light runs on our SL-B26 lithium battery, which is USB-C rechargeable. This light features a dual powered LED for a soft floodlight.
