U-Wave

The U-Wave wireless measurement data communication system improves efficiency by eliminating the need for data cables when sending measurements to a PC.

• The U-Wave transmitter snaps onto the tool
• Each tool and U-Wave component has a serial number to distinguish which tool is sending the information
• Allows you to pull a specific tool off the floor if necessary or monitor a particular tool or production line during the QA inspection
• Unlike Bluetooth, U-Wave will not be disrupted by the sound frequencies from large machines and can send data from the tool to the software from across the room

Mitutoyo U-Wave Bluetooth Wireless Data Collection System

The new U-Wave Bluetooth wireless data collection transmitter utilizes a different wireless technology than the U-Wave and U-Wave Fit products. Benefits include: No receiver required – Measurement data can be sent directly to a PC with Bluetooth, tablet or smartphone without a receiver. Cost reduction – Attach to the digimatic output of an existing Mitutoyo instrument to keep the system costs down. Improved efficiency – Input measurement data with one button. Eliminate the time and errors of handwritten recording. Centralized data – Electronic collection enables data to be stored in one location allowing preventive management of defects.
