To demonstrate the superior barrier protection of Tyvek® PPE against microporous film (MPF) and spunbond meltblown spunbond (SMS) fabric, DuPont tested the three PPE garments against the force of a .68 caliber paintball gun at a 17 ft. distance. Facing three paintballs at a 190 – 200 ft/s velocity, DuPont™ Tyvek® PPE consistently outperformed the competition, remained intact after impact, and demonstrated superior protection against the paint splash.
