Energy Efficiency
We regularly reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency across our office buildings and customer fulfillment centers (warehouses). The vast majority of our facilities use motion-sensor lighting and LED lighting.
Waste Reduction & Recycling
We continually work to minimize material usage and waste through process improvements. Our recycling efforts are focused on reusing materials and diverting waste from entering landfills, including corrugated containers, pallets, paper, plastic, glass, metal and electronics.
Freight Sustainability
We regularly look for ways to improve supply chain sustainability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including the transportation of the products we distribute to customers. Over half of our freight carriers are designated as SmartWay® transport partners by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Water Conservation
Although our water consumption is minimal as a distribution company, we strive to improve conservation. The majority of our facilities are equipped with water-saving fixtures and features, and we offer a broad range of water-efficiency products to our manufacturer customers.
