Energy Efficiency
We regularly reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency across ouroffice buildings and customer fulfillment centers (warehouses). The vastmajority of our facilities use motion-sensor lighting and LED lighting.
Waste Reduction & Recycling
We continually work to minimize material usage and waste through processimprovements. Our recycling efforts are focused on reusing materials anddiverting waste from entering landfills, including corrugated containers,pallets, paper, plastic, glass, metal and electronics.
Freight Sustainability
We regularly look for ways to improve supply chain sustainability andreduce greenhouse gas emissions, including the transportation of theproducts we distribute to customers. Over half of our freight carriers aredesignated as SmartWay® transport partners by the U.S. EnvironmentalProtection Agency.
Water Conservation
Although our water consumption is minimal as a distribution company, westrive to improve conservation. The majority of our facilities areequipped with water-saving fixtures and features, and we offer a broadrange of water-efficiency products to our manufacturer customers.
