ANDREA HOWARD: Hello and welcome to Quick Tips from MSC Industrial Supply, a show where we invite the manufacturing community to share their expertise with us. When thinking about PPE, people often forget about arm protection. If you're wearing cut resistant gloves, there may be potential for arm lacerations and you may need protective sleeves. MCR Safety has created an effective way to protect your arms and ensure compliance in the workplace.
Let's take a look. MCR’s Hypermax sleeves offer ANSI A4 level laceration protection so they protect against light and medium cut hazards. Hypermax sleeves have adjustable bicep straps and come in three different lengths for a custom fit. These sleeves are EN388 certified to tear level three, which means it takes at least 50 newtons of force to tear the fabric.
And the hi-vis color provides visual proof of safety compliance. For more information on MCR Safety Hypermax sleeves, visit www.mscdirect.com/products/mcrsafety-sleeves. Protective sleeves should never be used with or around moving equipment, tools or materials, so always remember to use caution when selecting the right PPE. Thanks and see you next time on Quick Tips.
