• G10 is a composite material also known as FR4 Flame Resistant is used by many aerospace companies because it is a strong material that is not metal but also water, flame, and corrosion resistants.

• G10 is similar to fiberglass on a surf board,  but they are layered with resin holding it together.  The glass layers make it extremely difficult to machine and keep tight tolerances.  

• Diamond tools are needed to cut the material because it is so strong.
