In this medical CNC case study, Noga shows how automated cross-hole deburring in 17-4 PH stainless steel eliminated manual finishing and prevented thread damage.
A precision hard connector with an M3x0.6 – 6H thread intersecting a Ø2.6 mm cross-hole created internal burrs that required 3 minutes of manual deburring per part (7,500 parts/month).
Using the UFIBER™ ceramic cross-hole brush (Ø1.5 mm, 7,000 RPM), the process was fully automated on the CNC machine.
If you're machining cross-holes or internal threads in stainless steel, automation is the next step.
