LOGIQ 4 FEED is ISCAR’s latest high-feed milling family of tools/inserts designed to increase productivity of rough milling applications, especially roughing that involves the creation of deep pockets/cavities and those that require a tool with ramping ability. LOGIQ 4 FEED features double-sided “bone-shaped” inserts with four cutting edges and positive rake angles which ensure smooth and easy cutting action, making them suitable for machining a wide range of materials, and for use on a wide range of machining centers, especially on lighter duty machines/spindles, such as common CAT40/HSK 63 spindles or driven tool stations on lathes.
These inserts have 4 types of cutting geometries for machining different materials under diverse cutting conditions: T – Steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, cast iron and hardened steel HP – Austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys RM-T – Interrupted cut for machining near straight wall shoulders of steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened steel RM-HP – Interrupted cut for machining near straight wall shoulders of austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys Features:
